Lachlan has been teaching since he left high school. He has taught at the Department of Education and Training Senior State Music Camp, and at the International Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE) Jazz Camp. In addition, he tutors regularly at school band camps and workshops.

Lachlan offers private tuition in two ways;

If there are enough students at one school, Lachlan can teach students during or after school, back to back. Or,

Lachlan teaches privately from his home studio in Turramurra, on Sydney’s North Shore.
